*PER Positions are currently eligible for a Sign-on Bonus of $2,000 for full time positions (prorated for part-time positions)*

The Cardiac Imaging department is an important part of care of the Benderson Family Heart Center. Our clinicians in the Division of Cardiac Imaging use state-of-the-art techniques to get incredibly detailed information about heart structure and function. This evaluation plays a key role in forming treatment plans tailored to each patient's condition and producing the best outcomes. Learn more about the Division of Cardiac Imaging here.

The Patient Experience Representative I will be responsible for:

  • Patient Encounter Management:
    • Providing single point of contact for families to schedule required appointments during visits to BCH. May assist in coordinating appointments across multiple disciplines.
    • Collaborating with referring providers and practices, including assisting in coordinating second opinion requests and records reviews.
    • Obtaining required authorizations to compile patient and staff schedules.
    • Scheduling patients and supporting the patient encounter, including scheduling studies and lab tests.
    • Placing patient reminder calls.
    • Obtaining prior authorizations as needed.
  • Administrative:
    • Providing direct administrative support to several providers in the Cardiac Imaging Division.
    • Maintaining personal calendars for physician/supervisor(s).
    • Scheduling meetings, programs and events. Reserving meeting locations, ordering supplies and equipment and preparing agendas. Preparing travel arrangements.
    • Recording and forwarding messages, triaging calls for urgent information or services, initiating calls for emergency services.
    • Providing routine clerical support as needed.

To qualify, you must have:

  • High School Diploma / GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations
  • Ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies
