Job Title
Butech Heavy Assembler - 1st Shift

Location
Onsite at Burbank CA


Job Summary
Assemble, fabricate, and test mechanical parts, systems, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Responsibilities
* Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment(s) and products.
* Utilize manual tools and pneumatic tools.
* Maintain inventory of product in work stations.
* Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards.
* Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
* Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
* Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
* Maintain cleanliness (5S) of work area daily
* Participate in continuous improvement goals of the work site

Basic Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* 2+ years' experience in heavy assembly
* Attendance
* Production
* Quality
* Professional Attitude and Teamwork
* Regularly lift between 30 - 50 pounds
* Regularly perform repetitive tasks
* Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Fully site based

Key Competencies
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
* Ability to use various power (pneumatic) hand tools (i.e.; power screwdriver, socket etc.)
* Ability to understand blueprints.
* Computer knowledge a must!

Starting Pay is $21.88 per hour but may be adjusted based on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, hourly position.
