Job Summary | The Associate Director of Admissions, Recruitment & Outreach manages the prospective student lifecycle that increases awareness, engagement, and conversion activities with Chicago State University. The Associate Director reports to the Assistant Vice President Enrollment Management & Director of Undergrad Admission on the development, implementation, and direction of a comprehensive and strategic communication and recruitment plan that supports increasing the number of newly admitted students (yield) enrolling at Chicago State University. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable of admissions and higher education best practices in enrollment management. The Associate Director provides leadership to a team of enrollment specialists that supports the enrollment goals of the division. This role also develops and supervises the team who manages outreach efforts including: virtual recruitment, transfer, training, alumni volunteers, communication, campus tours, and other areas as identified. This is a professional position responsible for increasing undergraduate enrollment through coordinated, planned and data driven recruitment practices. Responsible for representing Chicago State University at high school, community college, university programs and events across the Midwest Including travel within Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin: counseling families, prospective students and the general public on all aspects of the admissions process at Chicago State University; assisting with planning and implementation of university on-and-off campus programs; assisting with marketing and relationship-building activities through electronic correspondence and recruiting events; maintaining excellent public relations with prospective students and their families; making decisions regarding admission to the university; determining and implementing recruitment strategies in order to achieve enrollment goals; and assisting with other enrollment related services. |
