We are currently looking for a Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift team at our Connecticut site.

The Machine Operator is responsible for the operation and set up of parts on machines as assigned by the department supervisor. The Operator takes ownership of the inspection of products being produced to assure conformance to all specifications and workmanship standards. He/she will maintain all operational aspects as assigned, preparing the machine for set-up, locating and moving material, performing in-process and last piece inspections, SPC data entry, and performing minor resets. As experience is gained, the Operator will be trained on basic set-ups of assigned machines including stripping tooling from previous jobs.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, trade school graduate or equivalent
  • High mechanical aptitude and mathematical proficiency
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Ownership and accountability
