Job Description:
The Workplace Strategist will be responsible to manage and partner with a specific Business Unit to effectively plan and manage our sites and their occupants. The role will focus on strategic master planning, workplace strategy, workplace experience, demand forecasts, and project intake. As a player/coach the Workplace Strategist will work side by side on projects with the team, engage with other Real Estate Department leads (Planning, Real Estate, Facilities, Project Delivery etc.), and be able to communicate across multiple BU's.
Develop deep relationships with department/BU leaders and BRM; understand their business and unique space requirements to best support their teams
Work alongside planning team to develop strategic occupancy plans to help optimize space and improve workplace design.
Act as a player/coach, both guiding the team through work activities as well as personally undertaking challenging assignments.
Manage project intake for the BU and oversee business case development, requirements gathering, and communication with key project stakeholders.
Assist in developing project status updates, workspace usage, layouts, and space data analysis and executive reports, and support in presentations for key stakeholders.
Document project risks and escalate as needed. Obtain decisions and approval for changes to project scope, design, schedule and cost.
Align workspace supply with demand while optimizing employee experience.
Measure and maximize space utilization across the region focusing on site utilization and optimization by:Produce and maintaining master occupancy plans.
Ensure CAFM data completeness and accuracy.
Produce quarterly workplace reporting and forecasting.
Maintain master plans by regularly connecting with BU's and BRM's and forecasting space demand.
Partner and coach BUs to develop demand models based for future needs by using assumptions and data.

Identify process improvements and enhancements for the master Workplace Planning Playbook and work with planning team to improve processes and standardize work outputs.

Required Qualifications
Due to Global Trade (GT) reasons, (i.e. military/govt contract work) must be a US citizen
Strong, direct experience in a workplace or occupancy planning role
Deep expertise in Workplace Strategy or Planning in both traditional, 1:1 seating model as well as dynamic, activity-based environments with shared seating
Fluent understanding of CAFM systems and experience with the workflows required to sustain the up-to-date dataset required for workplace optimization
Knowledge of key workplace metrics and research and measurement methodologies
Understanding of different workplace strategies
Ability to effectively communicate respectfully and consultatively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong aptitude for resolving issues and driving solutions
Demonstrated success leading, developing, and mentoring a team of direct reports
The ability to travel domestically on occasion as business needs dictate
