This is a great opportunity for a talented and experience systems analyst to join our Enterprise Solutions team. In this role, you will partner with multiple business areas and cross-functional teams to design, deliver and support our ever-growing requirements for Data and Analytics. You will be working closely with business leaders and business analysts to architect data models, build data pipelines and deliver metrics and KPI's that answer important questions about our business operations and enables future growth.
Responsibilities
Gather business requirements and using those requirements: design, develop, and support analytics solutions in SAP BW, SAP Datasphere SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other analytics tools and platforms
Active contributor in ensuring that our data strategy aligns with Enterprise Solutions team and company goals
Active contributor in building robust procedures around data security, data governance, data cataloging, etc.
Daily tasks may include project relevant tasks like requirements analysis, design, planning, programming, testing, and documentation
Responsible for support tasks like error/exception handling, performance improvements, and 24/7 support. This also includes planning, testing and executing system upgrades.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW or SAP BW/4 HANA creating Advanced DSO's (ADSO), Open DSO Views, Composite Providers and SAP Bex queries
5+ years of extensive hands-on experience working in SAP Analytics Cloud building analytical and planning models, data pipelines, complex user stories, planning applications and custom widgets
2+ years of hands-on experience migrating data flows in SAP BW 7.5 to SAP Datasphere / DWC by means of advanced data modelling
Proficiency and proven experience in Python, SQL and REST APIs
Working experience with SAP Business Objects (BOBJ) including Analysis for Office
Ability to quickly grasp customer demands, evaluate their requirements, and translate them into effective analytical solutions
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision to independently scope, plan and manage projects
Must be a great team player including willingness to provide guidance and mentorship to other team members
Superior problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and meeting facilitation skills and high level of confidence when working with different business groups and various levels of management
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Familiarity with other analytics tools and platforms including MS PowerBI, Tableau, Spotfire, Qlik, Azure Analytics, AWS Redshift, Snowflake and Google BigQuery
Prior SAP ABAP programming experience
Working knowledge of SAP BPC
Experience building custom widgets and visualizations in SAC using R programming
Strong understanding of business processes within Sales, Supply Chain, Corporate Accounting, HR, Purchasing, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
Experience working for a semiconductor or other high-tech company
