Deposit Operations Specialist (NE-9)

Chelsea Groton is looking to hire a motivated and dynamic individual for our Deposit Operations Department. The Deposit Operations Specialist assists our customers by phone, video, and on-site at branch locations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and personable individual who provides outstanding service in a professional manner with strong attention to detail and time management skills. Responsibilities and Requirements vary based on job level. Expectations include:

  • Decisioning check and ACH items that have created an exception within a timely manner, per regulatory guidelines, the NACHA rules and in accordance with the Bank's policies, practices and procedures.
  • Assists in the administration of the Banks Overdraft Privilege Program.
  • Performs various processing activities associated with retirement accounts. Provides retirement account support to Retail Branches.
  • Assists with the performance of tasks and responsibilities in support of the daily operations of the Bank including the processing of forms and documents, transaction processing, account and service maintenance, document management, branch and bank reconciliation, research, quality control review, and other processes and procedures.
  • Provides daily support to all internal and external customers in a professional, effective, and timely manner. Recommends custom and creative solutions through a consultative approach and follows through to completion.
