The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. SDG is hiring for a Technical Program Analyst.

Responsibilities

The Technical Program Analyst will provide project management support to SSP's Project Team in New London, CT. In coordination with SPA's Construction, Test, and Delivery Assistant Program Manager, other members of SPA's on-site team, and SSP's Project Team, the analyst will advance multiple lines of effort in support of the COLUMBIA/Common Missile Compartment Program. Particularly, the analyst will lead the development of a knowledge and information management capability for SSP's Project Team, assist with updating shipyard-related policy/process documentation, and help coordinate multiday shipyard execution planning meetings. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical communication skills and be able to quickly and competently learn and employ new information technology tools (product lifecycle management software, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.).

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    U.S. Citizen with DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain clearance.
  • Experience working in support of a shipbuilding program or 3+ years operational experience as a military officer or senior enlisted.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute workload to meet requirements and deadlines across multiple projects.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience working with Strategic Systems Programs.
  • Experience working in support of a submarine new construction program.
  • 3+ years of experience serving aboard an SSBN or SSN.
  • Graduate of KMI Certified Knowledge Manager course or 3+ years supporting/leading knowledge management initiatives.
