Retail Lending Administrator (NE-9)

Chelsea Groton is looking to hire motivated and dynamic individuals to join our Retail Lending team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, collaborative, and personable individual that thrives in a team-based environment. Strong communication within the bank among Loan Officers, Sales Assistants as well as outside vendors and Real Estate Attorneys and their staff. Responsibilities and Requirements vary based on job level. Expectations include process and close all types of retail loan applications:

  • Real estate secured: coordinate all aspects of retail loan closings from title order through closing including secondary market deliveries and post-closing administration, in conformance with established Bank policies and procedures.
  • Non-real estate secured: coordinate all aspects of retail loan closings from application through closing including post-closing administration, in conformance with established Bank policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely receipt of title documentation, order retail loan appraisals, obtain and review hazard and flood insurances, communicate clear to close status. Work with settlement agent to obtain all required documents and closing details, including fees, related to mortgage closing.
  • Complete closing information in the Loan Operating System, including escrow calculations, and produce closing documentation for all types of retail loans including CHFA, FHA, VA, USDA; check documents for accuracy and completeness; deliver closing packages to settlement agents.
