The Senior Estimator is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of estimates for jobs to be bid.

Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to:

* Quantify project components

* Visit project to understand site conditions/restrictions

* Coordinate with subcontractors about prospective work

* Work with the estimating team bidding the project to build the estimate, then price assigned items in HCSS

* Oversee and review the work of all other Estimators' work

* Use your Estimating experience to come up with cost effective solutions

* Work on a preliminary project schedule based on the information provided in the plans and specifications utilizing Primavera P6 or Primavera Contractor software

* Lead the team to close the estimate

* Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values

* And other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Minimum 8 years of experience within the heavy civil arena.

* Previous success in leading an estimating team

* Bridge, earthwork, and airport experience preferred

* Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
