Our Clinical Dietitian provides appropriate patient nutritional care with duties and responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
- assess the nutritional status of patients
- formulate a care plan, coordinate its implementation, and evaluate its impact and effectiveness
- provide nutrition education to patients/families
- approve supplements, as appropriate, and assist in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population
Education and Work Experience
- Registered Dietitian, required (CMS requirement)
- one year healthcare experience, desirable
