What we need...

We're looking for a Programming Supervisor to coach and mentor our hybrid software development team. The eForms team develops banking forms and documentation for COCC's financial institution clients, and this person will manage a group of developers while exploring new technologies to innovate and create efficiencies within processes. We're looking for a change agent with a creative problem solving style, who gets energy out of collaboration and sees the success of a team as mission critical.

What you'll do...

  • Lead a team of remote and on-site developers and encourage their growth, while providing feedback, training, mentorship and support
  • Provide supervisory support to the team including coaching, performance evaluation, and career pathing
  • Manage day to day and long term projects, workloads and resources to ensure quality projects are delivered on time
  • Identify areas for growth and improvement, challenging the status quo and encouraging a new way to solve problems and collaborate
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, teammates, and peers to find constructive ways forward in our technologies, processes and procedures
  • Design and program enhancements or defect repairs and code solutions for special requests, conversions, enhancements, and defects

What you'll bring...

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and/or relevant certifications
  • Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or management role, providing positive leadership and oversight of projects
  • Minimum 5 years experience supporting software development, in a developer, engineer, analyst or similar role
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management
  • Knowledge of several high-level programming languages
  • Experience with Agile methodology; Jira a plus
  • Enthusiasm for financial technology and interest in exploring new tools and technologies within the industry

The salary range for this role is $70000-$130000/annually
