Program Overview

Community Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated candidate to fill the role of a Fulltime Residential Supervisor, for our FBOP-Drapelick Center located in Bloomfield. Our Residential Supervisor will provide general supervision and training or coverage for direct care staff. Ensure implementation of all Agency policies and procedures pertaining to the safety and security of clients, the program, and the community. Provide specialized training and support to direct care staff. These are programs for state and federal work release clients who live in a congregate setting and are supported as they obtain full-time employment and meet financial and self-sufficiency goals. The programs administer assessments, monitor compliance with treatment plan goals and involve clients in direct treatment services that address their criminogenic tendencies. Random breathalyzer or urinalysis, cognitive behavioral groups, home confinement monitoring, and case management to assist clients in maintaining stability leading to successful discharge.

Position Overview

  • Provide supervision and monitoring of Residential Re-Entry Specialist, staff coverage and shift activities as it relates to client supervision, security, emergency situations, maintenance and sanitation, and client accountability.
  • Provide direct supervision, training, and evaluation of direct care staff; including orientation training, and basic and advanced coverage training for newly employed and other staff as assigned.
  • Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance/quality assurance plan that assures compliance with policy, ACA standards, and contract requirements on an ongoing basis.
  • Support the case manager supervisor, where applicable, in matters related to case management, staff response to emergency situations, and compliance with Agency policies and procedures.
  • Perform the functions of counselor/case manager such as client supervision, custody, searches, facility rounds, counts, and urine surveillance as needed.
  • Organize and conduct monthly residential counselor meetings.
  • Monitor staff compliance with all policies and procedures pertaining to the safety and security of clients, Agency property, and the community.
  • Participate in the on-call duty officer rotation as assigned.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of and abide by the Agency's programs, policies, procedures and code of ethics.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Schedule: Sun-Thurs 3pm-11pm


Annual Salary: $ 51,978.17


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Science field and one year experience in case management or similar field. *Bachelors required for FBOP programs*
  • Pass a Federal Bureau of Prisons background check.
  • Attend 40hrs of FBOP required training, prior to working FBOP clients.
  • Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one year for one year basis.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills desired.
  • Ability to engage and develop collaborations with community agencies.
  • Previous assessment experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
