Account Manager / Business Development Manager

Job Responsibilities
The iTech/Ampcus Account Manager is a multi-faceted role that includes both business development (acquiring new clients) and account management (growth within clients). New Business Development A constant stream of new business is essential to the continuous growth of our company.
  • Has a demonstrated understanding of the targeted territory including large/mid/small businesses that make up the territory.
  • Develops a targeted business plan and sales strategy to approach the territory that ensures a continued flow of new client on-boarding.
  • Prepares & executes an action plan for effective sales leads and prospects that includes:
    • Territory market data from existing data base (Job Diva)
    • Reviewing job boards for local organizations that are hiring.
    • Networking tooling such as Linked In & Twitter
    • Attending networking groups and events local to territory.
  • Leverages all of Ampcus services capabilities to penetrate an account (Staff Augmentation, Direct Hire, and SOW).
  • Work with sales leadership on RFP responses and new MSA negotiations.
  • Achieves targeted gross profit levels on a monthly/quarterly and yearly basis.
Account Management Once a prospect becomes a client or if the sales representative is introduced to an existing iTech client, the representative will:
  • Make themselves familiar with the clients' business activities including: following organizations news and investor relations
  • Build a detailed account plan focused on growing the account via specific task related activities.
  • Work with sales leadership to establish executive level relationships.
  • Utilize networking techniques to establish and grow relationships including:
    • Regular meetings with consulting base
    • Meetings with existing hiring managers
    • Meetings with NEW managers within the client.
General Day to Day
  • Responsible for the acquiring and qualification of job specs from new and existing clients.
  • Responsible for negotiation of bill rates that adhere to targeted gross margin levels.
  • Responsible for candidate interview preparation and client debrief.
  • Adheres to all iTech processes using the JobDiva tool including all meeting and requirement notes.
  • Work collaboratively with recruiting team and leadership
  • Produce required weekly planning and monthly summary documents.
  • Complies with HR policies and procedures.
  • Continually builds knowledge of IT trends and technologies by attending industry events, seminars and webinars.
