The Role

This is a unique opportunity to participate in a summer human resource internship with our People Team. This internship will give you exposure to employer branding, recruiting, job fairs, onboarding, benefits, DEI, HR systems policy development, new location openings while providing ample learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside our HR Business Partner, People Partner, and Marketing Team to understand and develop candidate profiles, sourcing strategies, and employer branding
• Learn about our best-in-class training and onboarding. You'll assist with scheduling, development, content creation, and metrics
• Assist with building an internal HR knowledge base
• Design, plan, and implement team engagement and cultural activities
• Pull and evaluate reporting for our People Team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in progress in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Communication, or Organizational Management preferred with an anticipated graduation in 2022
• Relevant work experience with food and/or grocery a plus
• Strong aspiration to develop into a higher-level HR role with increasing levels of responsibility
• Team player at heart. Love to work in a collaborative environment
• Attention to detail and excel with organization and time management skills
• Excellent communication and planning skills
• Must have a high level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize
• Microsoft Suite experience. Teams experience a plus
• ADP or other HRIS experience a plus
• Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making
• Ability to maintain composure, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
